Overview & Highlights

Welcome to Chiringuito Es Bruc Santandria, a hidden jewel nestled on the pristine shores of Playa Urb. Santandria in Menorca. This charming restaurant is not merely a beachside eatery; it’s a celebration of local flavors, fresh ingredients, and the breathtaking Balearic landscape. The gentle sound of the waves and the soft whisper of the sea breeze provide a serene backdrop as you indulge in a delightful culinary experience.

Emphasizing Mediterranean cuisine, Chiringuito Es Bruc offers an inviting menu that features a variety of dishes perfect for both seafood lovers and vegetarians alike. Savor the exquisite battered calamari, a crowd favorite praised for its golden crispiness, or opt for the generous lamb chops that are wonderfully tender, each bite bursting with flavor. The cod fillet shines just as brightly, showcasing the local fishing catch. Don't miss out on their renowned cheese omelette, highly recommended by guests for its rich and creamy texture.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is casual yet enchanting, with its open-sided layout that seamlessly connects the dining area with the beach. As the sun sets, the ambiance transforms into a magical setting, making each dining experience feel special and intimate. Guests share rave reviews about the friendly service—indicative of a dedicated team eager to ensure your satisfaction. Sania arriste noted, “The food was absolutely amazing,” and many others complimented the cleanliness and delightful service they received.

While enjoying your meal, it’s important to remember that dining on the beach can sometimes come with its challenges, as noted by other patrons about the occasional presence of flies—an inherent aspect of seaside dining that is largely beyond their control. Nonetheless, the quality and generous portions of the homemade meals—like the fabulous croquettes from calamarsets with tinta negra—truly compensate for any minor inconveniences.

Brian Watts appreciated the straightforward menu and fair pricing, while others like Elaine Sheppard enjoyed a modern twist with the menu access via a simple phone scan, a nod to convenience in the scenic setting. For a truly memorable experience, consider timing your visit with the sunset, ensuring you leave with not just a full stomach but also a heart warmed by the stunning views and the friendly island vibe.

Chiringuito Es Bruc Santandria is more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination that invites you to relish both the food and the captivating natural beauty of Menorca. Whether you're lounging on the beach, enjoying a lovely evening with friends, or indulging in a family meal, every aspect from the thoughtful service to the delicious cuisine is designed to create delightful memories that last a lifetime.

The food was absolutely amazing but the flies made it almost impossible to sit and enjoy (but it's out of their control, mostly due the sea water, the seafood, etc) Great service.

Part of the hotel we stayed at. Run separately. Good service, clean, fairly basic menu though. Open sided on to the beach. Fairly priced. We used it a couple of times and were quite satisfied accepting it is what it is. Usually quite busy.

Did a walk in for a drink but stayed for a meal. Beautiful beach setting and battered calamari was excellent for starters followed by the lamb chops and cod fillet which was equally good. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely evening and well done team

Amazing food, good quality and generous quantities. The location is amazing, on the beach, and there are different veggie options. You should try the cheese omelette, it’s so yummy!

They call themselves Chiringuito, since they are directly on the beach, but they are much more than that, a real restaurant. They serve generous meals and it is all home-made. They serve fabulous croquettes from calamarsets with tinta negra! They were delicious. We were here with a whole family of 6. The service was very friendly and helpful. The view is the beach and the water. A recommended and new addition to the eateries on Cala Santandria.

Its a lovely place to eat if you time it well with the sunset. No paper menus, you scan on your phone and then read the menu from that.
